NJAST is proud to have scholarships available for current Surgical Technology students!! There are three (3) scholarships at $1, 000 each.  The purpose of the scholoarships is to aid current students in attending the 2024 AST Conference in Denver, Colorado.  The conference is held May 30 - June 1, 2024.  Here is the criteria for the scholarships:

Choose one topic:

a. Why did you choose the Surgical Technology field?

b. Who is your greatest inspiration and why?

c. What will this scholarship to the AST Conference help you achieve? What do you hope to gain from attending the conference?

Specifics:

Each entry should be at least four pages in length.

Spacing: 1.5 - 2

The deadline for submissions is on or before December 31, 2023, via email. Once the board reviews all entries and chooses the three winners, they will be notified. The scholarships will be awarded on or before February 28, 2024, so students can register during the early bird time.
